It seems like most sites want to talk about Average FICO Credit Scores. But, who in this great country of ours wants to be average? Especially now that an average credit score means below top-tier rates. This episode addresses the very characteristics of someone with a model FICO Score of 760.

Here are some of the big attributes of someone with a 760+.

CUR or Credit Utilization Ratio is <10%
Age of oldest account is >18 years
Installment loans are >35% paid off
Almost 100% have no missed payments in last few years
Few of these folks have an inquiry in the last year.

One thing is certain, time can be your friend or your enemy when it comes to your FICO Credit Score.
