The story of Experian withdrawing from its relationship with myFICO continues to draw fire.
- Over 40 articles have been written on the subject since last week and numerous blog posts. Publications covering the decision include USAToday, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Detroit Free Press and MarketWatch
- The FICO forums has over 350 replies and 16,000 views
- Senator Christopher Dodd is looking into the Experian pullout according to the New Haven Register. They report that his commitee has jurisdiction to review Experian’s decision.
- The office of New York State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo said it will look into the matter according to Newsday.

Perhaps we can get lemonade out of these lemons. If the government starts to look at this issue, perhaps they start to address other consumer credit issues. Maybe, they will start to look at overall FICO access and reconsider free FICO scores the way they pushed for free credit reports via annualcreditreport.com.
