Free Credit Score Product Reviews

There are several products available online that offer credit score and credit report services. Each one has pluses and minuses, so it’s worth the research to make sure you get the right product for you. As many of these products have monthly fees, I’ve done several video product screencasts so you can “try” before you “pay”.

Great design with Suze’s input.

Not many. A great product. No ongoing monitoring and thus no alerts. blipthumb r2s Product Comparisons

myFICO partnered with Suze Orman to provide a more helping hand approach to seeing all your FICO scores from each of the bureaus, but with a nice tweak – you can pull 3 reports from ANY of the 3 bureaus, so you can mix and match and share these pulls across your family [e.g. you could pull a TU report/score for yourself, and your husband could also pull his TU report/score.]

TrueCredit

Nice presentation of reports in side by side format.

30 Day free trial

No FICO Credit Scores. Features non-FICO TU scores. In my case my non-FICO score was 51 points different than my Trans Union FICO score acquired via the Suze Orman FICO Kit. blipthumb r3s Product Comparisons

Biggest is that this “me-too” service is $29.95/mth with a 7 day free trial, when other products feature a $14.95/mth charge. This company appears to target people who aren’t aware of other credit product offerings.
This company offers a 7-day free trial of PrivacyMatters which will give you credit monitoring and non-FICO credit scores. These websites are owned by Adaptive Marketing…which is worth a Google search.

It features cell phone alerts and email alerts on FICO credit Score changes. It’s the same product, essentially as the product offered by Fair Isaac. Not sure why it’s more expensive.

Equifax Credit Watch™ Gold with 3-in-1 Monitoring with FICO® Score

Set it and forget it. 3 report monitoring product for $14.95/mth includes 1 FICO score on the Equifax report. Product resembles the TripleAdvantage and TU base credit produts except it includes a FICO score, but the others have 3 scores.
