A 731 Credit Score is a good rating on the FICO credit score scale. It used to be a great credit score, but now it’s 29 points lower than the highest break point of 760 for the best FICO credit score. Its also 119 points lower than a perfect 850 FICO credit score.
On the Vantage Score scale, this 731 score would be a C rated score, 259 points lower than a perfect score in this scoring model and 170 points away from the best tier of 901+.
On the PLUS score system, which scale goes from 330 to 830. Your score would be 99 points away from a perfect score.
This leads to the big the question, which credit score did you receive? Make sure you understand what a good credit score includes. If you haven’t checked your FICO credit score, do it now. If you have a non-FICO score, you should probably get your FICO credit score to see what most lenders are seeing. myFICO Score Watch allows you to monitor your FICO score by getting email alerts and cell phone text message alerts each time your FICO score changes.
