Public library fines can impact your credit score. But, this depends on whether or not fines are reported to credit agencies, so be careful! There are companies that specialize in just helping libraries collect these fines.

My FICO Credit Score is on the rise again. Why? I’ve been keeping with my plan to pay down credit cards every two weeks. I simply put reminders in my calendar and pay my bills AHEAD of schedule. My Equifax FICO credit score is now up 33 points since February.
